WHY HAVE AMINO WORK CAPACITY ADVANCED?

Twenty percent of the human body is made up of protein. Protein plays a crucial role in almost all biological processes and amino acids are the building blocks of it, but the role of amino acids goes beyond building blocks since a large proportion of our cells, muscles and tissue is made up of amino acids, meaning they carry out many important bodily functions, such as giving cells their structure. They also play a key role in the transport and the storage of nutrients. Amino acids have an influence on the function of organs, glands, tendons, and arteries. They are furthermore essential for healing wounds and repairing tissue, especially in the muscles, bones, skin, and hair as well as for the removal of all kinds of waste deposits produced in connection with the metabolism.

With the result of amino acids being a big part of our muscles, when we exercise amino acids become more important as it is difficult to maintain the desired levels from food alone, considering most people find it hard to keep food down if they eat before working out, let alone during a gym session. That said, eating plenty of BCAA-rich foods in your daily diet is definitely a good idea anyway, even if you don’t lift weights.

BEHIND THE KEY INGREDIENTS

Non-essential Amino Acids is slightly misleading label because these amino acids actually fill essential roles, but since they’re synthesised by your body, they’re not an essential part of your diet. Some of the non-essential amino acids are actually known to be conditional amino acids, as when you’re ill or stressed, your body may not be able to produce enough of these amino acids to meet your needs, and in our product, this includes Glutamine, Glycine and Citrulline (a by-product of arginine) while Alanine is the only true non-essential amino acid we’ve included.

Essential Amino Acids are the ones you must get through the foods you eat because your body can’t make them. Your body doesn’t store amino acids, so it needs a regular daily supply of these essential building blocks, because of this we’ve included them all in our product Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Histidine, Tryptophan and of course the BCAA’s as well which are Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine.

D-Ribose is one of our extra ingredients and is in no form of amino acid, but instead, it’s a simple sugar that is found naturally in our bodies. But ribose is not like any other sugar as it begins the metabolic process for ATP production, which could be useful for athletes who are exercising extensively and depleting energy reserves.

Taurine is often referred to as an amino acid, but it’s actually an amino sulfonic acid, as it’s a by-product of the sulphurous amino acids cysteine and methionine. This is one of the most abundant free amino acid in mammalian tissues, with the exception of the human liver where the amino acid aspartate is the most abundant one.

Carnitine is another naturally-occurring compound that is technically speaking, not an amino acid. It is actually a dipeptide made from the essential amino acids lysine and methionine, which in the result of this often gets classed as a conditionally essential amino acid.

WHEN WOULD I USE IT?

When you use amino acids could be all dependant on what you want to use them for, as they’re ideal for pre, during and post-workout, but these are most often used as a pre-workout supplement mainly for the morning on an empty stomach. Regardless of how you use them, you’d take 1 scoop with 500 to 750ml of water.
